The heart of the BAS-02 is the new IB-05 Analyser System. The IB-05 contains an ultra-high accuracy in-line refractometer for °Brix and     % diet standard measurement and a maintenance free carbonation analyser for CO2 vol/vol or g/l. The two analysers are mounted on a stainless steel frame, together with a self-priming pump to circulate a stream of product from the process line going to the filler. The IB-05 system has an embedded microprocessor panel on the frame assembly, this receives data from each analyser and computes the final values of Brix, diet and carbonation. The system has a local operator display and keypad for measured values and system configuration. Plant integration is achieved through a comprehensive selection of analogue and digital interfaces.

The BAS-02 also features automatic
controllers for Brix and carbonation. These continuously monitor process data and compares it against product specification, then automatically making small adjustments to the existing blending and carbonating equipment. As well as maintaining a tighter product specification the controllers can improve syrup yield and reduce CO2 consumption.

The BAS-02 is completed by the
MultiLab-III computer system that provides remote monitoring, control and data acquisition for up to eight lines. This allows QA and Technical personnel to monitor, control and record the process from a remote location and generate on-screen and hard copy quality audit reports.
